Iga Swiatek is gearing up for the Australian Open 2024 which is set to begin on January 14 and the Pole is spending her spare time to explore Melbourne.
Swiatek, 22, has never tasted glory in Melbourne and the Pole would be willing to end the drought in Australia.
As the first Slam of 2024 nears, Swiatek, in a video posted by Australian Open’s X account, was seen enjoying her time by drinking a cup of coffee in Melbourne.
“In between the tournaments, I love to go to the city and explore anything. In Melbourne, for sure it’s going to be good coffee. When I play matches, I drink coffee right before the match, so usually I’m skipping the morning coffee,” Swiatek said.
“When I have a day off like today, it’s one of my goals to have a good coffee. When I was on vacation, I started drinking Oat Milk, and I started to like it. I feel like when I’m drinking it, it brings me back to my vacation which is cool.”

It must be noted that Swiatek will face a challenging draw, commencing her Australian Open campaign against 2020 champion Sofia Kenin, with a potential second-round clash against another former champion, Angelique Kerber.
At just 22 years of age, Swiatek is already a four-time Grand Slam winner — three French Open titles and a US Open — and the way she has been performing and reaching new heights, there are no doubts that she is destined for greatness.
